Ameristep will not be responsible for any physical damage to the shipment if it is not inspected at the time of delivery and damages or suspected damages are not clearly noted on the freight carrier’s paperwork at the time of delivery, and reported immediately to Ameristep.
All products are inspected before shipping, insuring the quality and adequacy of the packaging prior to being loaded. The consignee will be responsible for the freight enroute and file any claims if necessary. RETURNED GOODS
Product returns are for defective merchandise only. All returns must contain a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER and ship via an Ameristep Partner Carrier issued by an Ameristep representative. Standard product in resalable condition will be assessed a 20% restocking charge. Upon receipt of product, Ameristep will inspect and determine salability. Any cost above the restocking charge required to make product salable shall be deducted from the credit.
No returns will be accepted of product that is requested to be returned after 6 months of its initial ship date.
WARRANTY / LIMITS OF LIABILITY
All product manufactured by Ameristep® shall be warranted to be free of defects in material or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of shipment. Should the product be proven to Ameristep to be defective, we shall option to repair or replace the product. At no time will Ameristep reimburse purchaser for unauthorized rework on any product.
Ameristep does not warrant product that has been modified, subjected to abuse, negligence in operation or maintenance, or if product is used in a manner that exceeds its designed capabilities and rating. Under no circumstances is Ameristep liable for any damages related to our product performance.
Ameristep does not warrant product that exceeds the typical shelf life of 3 years. Ameristep recommends replacing the product after that 3-year period.
GUARANTEE If your Ameristep product has received proper care but fails due to defect in manufacturing, the blind will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. Repairs due to accident, improper care, or negligence where Ameristep is not at fault - including material breakdown due to sun degradation, mildew, and natural aging, as well as wear and tear due to normal use - will be performed at a reasonable charge.
