 Years Hunting: 5 years. 1st year on Ameristep's Prostaff. Favorite animal to hunt: Whitetails, Turkeys and Pheasants. TV appearances/ affiliations: I have been filmed for Archer's Choice/The Choice. Working on sending in footage to work with a TV show. Would like having a show in the future. Other Prostaff Experience: Spittler's Custom Calls Family: Mom (Diane) and Dad (Chuck), sister (Janae) and Emmit (our dog). Experience: I have been hunting for 5 years. I love bowhunting and have been hunting archery for 4 years. I am either doing or thinking hunting 24/7 365 days a year. I am always scouting and trying to find each and every year the best place for the greatest opportunity on upcoming hunting seasons. I have harvested 7 whitetail so far, 3 deer with my bow and 4 with rifle. I am very avid in filming hunts and have shot 2 deer on film; also turkey hunting and love being in the Spring turkey woods, and finally big into turkey calling contests and call for Spittler's Custom Game Calls. This past 2009 deer season I was blessed to kill a 4.5 year old mature PA buck weighing around 230 lbs. with my bow by myself. I spent 12 hours in the tree stand and seen 8 bucks and a doe the entire day my buck was the most mature one with two smaller bucks. I grunted him in from 150 yards to 8 steps from my stand and placed a perfect shot. It was one of the biggest accomplishments in my hunting career and will never forget. I have been filmed for the show Archer's Choice for a turkey hunt. I am a member of the NWTF and many other hunting organizations. Work/Hobbies: Hunting, archery, hunting with my Dad and cousin Ryan, shed hunting, turkey calling contests, playing guitar, golf, snow boarding, and hanging with friends. Hunting Quote/Tip: "The culture I stand for is sometimes lost in today's society, when in fact today's society was built on the culture of the hunter. A hunter is more then a predator; a hunter is a provider, a caretaker, a leader. I will never make excuses for who I am. it's the way I was born. I'm a hunter... A BONE COLLECTOR!!." Favorite Ameristep Product: Blinds are amazing and I like the Intimidator Blind the most. I love it's space and it is very silent. It is also very versatile and just all around awesome product! As far as Tree stands - I love all of Ameristep's Ladder stands. |
