Hometown: Resides in Millington, Michigan
My Family has always been into hunting and the outdoors. I grew up outside learning about how to sit patiently waiting for deer, call for turkeys, and to look for signs on where to hunt. My dad took me hunting with him often, and I was lucky enough to go on many different trips. I have gone to Canada to hunt caribou and black bear, ILLINIOIS to hunt trophy whitetail, as well as going wild boar hunting and deer hunting in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I also like to just go out in the woods and scout and use my camera to film and keep track of the animals I see. When deer season comes around it’s the time when I’m constantly thinking about where to set up my next blind, or where to put my next tree stand. Now I am a taxidermist and take pride in my work. My job goes hand in hand with hunting and the outdoors.
8 years hunting and second year on Ameristeps Prostaff
Favorite animal to hunt: White tails and turkeys
Family: Married to Krista in 2009
Work/ hobbies: I work as a taxidermist at Nancarrows taxidermy studio and am a sales rep for Whitetail Authority selling a variety of hunting products. I love to grab my camera and head out in the woods either hunting or scouting. I also like to shoot my G5 primal bow year around.
Hunting tip: Wait for deer to present you with the best shot possible. If you don’t have a good ethical shot then just pass and wait for your next opportunity. If you make a good shot and recover your deer, remember to thank God for his creation!
Favorite Ameristep product: Intimidator Blind and the Ameristep Bone Collector Blind.
Keeps you dry when hunting in nasty weather and big enough to fit a couple people and all your hunting gear.
