Years Hunting: 8 years and is the 3rd year on Ameristep's Pro Staff

Favorite animal(s) to hunt: I have taken many P&Y  trophy whitetail and also BUCKEYE BIG BUCKS from my home state of Ohio. My vast knowledge of  hunting whitetails from the ground and Ameristep ground blinds has put me close to many whitetails.  I also love to hunt turkey. More so than deer I think! I have won many turkey calling contests in past years and have also taken many, many turkeys. Also have been a guide for many years.
 
I'm currently involved in y-city longbeared handicapped hunts. I help call in turkey for other hunters to give them a chance at a big Tom. This event is very heart felt and very rewarding. Also involved in Kicking Bear 1on1 Mentoring program for kids here at Deerassic Park in Cambridge, Ohio.  I’m a very knowledgeable videographer and being able to film and understand all professional camera's is a must.

Family: My wife’s name is Angela. I have  five children Ariel, Audri, Michael Jr., Monica and Christian. I have three grandkids and a great nephew that is two that would like to go hunting already.

Experience: I have been in the hunting industry for the last 8 years but have hunted most of my life. I have appeared on many DVDs and TV shows, being the hunter and being the cameraman. I have appeared in North American Whitetail Magazine and Buck Master Magazines. I also have taken other game throughout North America.  I have done many trade shows, meeting other hunters and telling stories or giving professional advice. When doing the shows, being an award  winning artist I always like to take one of my Illustrations with a sponsor's logo at the bottom to give out to the little hunters.
